Not your average Ortho

Dr. Paige was a Canadian Naval officer before becoming an orthodontist. Graduating from the Royal Military College in Kingston with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Dr. Paige trained to become an officer at the helm of a 130-meter Canadian Navy warship and even deployed to the Persian Gulf after 9/11.

And while this might not be the most traditional background for an orthodontist, Dr. Paige’s former military life is a big part of why we think she is such an exceptional orthodontist today! Integrity, attention to detail, loyalty, leadership; aren’t these the qualities you would want in your orthodontist? Moreover, Dr. Paige would never give up the amazing adventures and lifelong friendships from her time in uniform. And yet, another calling needed to be answered.

For the love of teeth

As a kid, Dr. Paige wanted to become an orthodontist. In fact she is kind of a nerd about teeth which we think is pretty cool! A graduate of the dentistry program at McGill University, she also completed a general paediatric residency at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and worked as a general dentist before pursuing her dream of becoming an orthodontist.

A graduate of the specialized orthodontic residency program at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Paige is a board-certified orthodontist and a Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Today, Dr. Paige is just as excited about teeth as when she was a kid and considers herself extremely fortunate to be able to help people, on a daily basis, discover the art and science behind their own beautiful smiles.

Family & community

In addition to your smile, Dr. Paige is passionate about both her family and her community, Ottawa! She is a proud mother of twin four-year-old daughters Chloe and Autumn and a new‘ish’ baby boy Jones. She is married to an old‘ish’ baby boy and fur-momma to a mini golden-doodle named Luna.

Life is crazy hectic in the Kozak household and Dr. Paige wouldn’t have it any other way. Believing the best way to raise their children to become outstanding Canadians is through their example, the Kozak’s are committed to their chosen community of Ottawa and passionate about service before self.
