Often, patients call and ask the question “How much do you charge for braces?” While we would love to give everyone a definitive number over the phone, this is a very difficult question to answer with any precision.

The cost of orthodontic treatment depends on many factors which are each very personalized to the individual receiving treatment.

Factors include:

  • The complexity of the case;

  • The patient’s age;

  • The anticipated treatment duration;

  • The type of braces used to make the corrections;

  • What will be corrected (treatment plan);

  • The patient’s expectations and wishes of the patient (treatment goals).

Our Estimate

If Dr. Paige recommends orthodontic treatment during your consultation, you will receive a written estimate from us within a couple of days. We know that it is important to you to be able to count on an accurate cost for your treatment.

At Braceology we ensure that your estimate is complete and includes a breakdown of all applicable fees. Our goal is that you will be fully informed of all of the expected costs of your treatment before treatment begins.

We’re Flexible

Because we believe that everyone should be able to access orthodontic care by a board-certified orthodontist, Braceology is proud to offer its patients no-interest in-house financing options for the duration of your treatment to those patients who subscribe to automatic pre-authorized monthly deductions.

Moreover, we offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Our office accepts payments by debit, VISA and MasterCard. Did you know that there is no tax (HST or PST) on orthodontics in Ontario?

Insurance?

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance.

Insurance policies vary, so our estimate is done on the Certified Specialist in Orthodontics Standard Information Form. You can send this form directly to your insurance carrier who will advise you directly, in writing, how much they will cover.

If you need to reduce your payments even more by extending them beyond the duration of your treatment, we’ve teamed up with Dentalcard. This financing company offers a simple and affordable way to finance your procedure on a timeline that works for you, with payment plans extending up to 6 years, allowing you to immediately acquire the care you desire. Dentalcard's dental financing programs ensure that you don't delay your treatment due to cost concerns by offering you a variety of financing terms with convenient monthly payments.
